GT15 Self-Priming Centrifugal Pump, 1.5 hp Blue

Gould's GT15 pump features a self-priming design, which allows for easy repriming once the pump is initially filled with water and the water level rises. The back pullout design enables the pump to be disassembled for service without disturbing the piping. The motor is conveniently located in two compartments for easy access to wiring and replaceable components.

The bolt down diffuser ensures positive alignment with the impeller, with a stainless wear ring for extended performance in abrasive conditions. Both the impeller and diffuser are FDA compliant, made from durable materials such as glass filled Noryl and Lexan for abrasion resistance. The pump is also corrosion resistant, thanks to an electro-coat paint process that is applied inside and out and baked on.

Constructed with cast iron, the casing features a four-bolt back pull-out design, with tapped openings for a vacuum gauge and casing drain. The pump is designed for continuous operation within the recommended working limits of the motor manufacturer, with a mechanical seal that prevents running dry.

Specifically designed for applications such as lawn sprinkling, irrigation, air conditioning systems, heat pumps, water transfer, and dewatering, the GT series pump boasts a capacity of up to 110 GPM at a 5-foot suction lift, with a maximum head of 128 feet. It has a reprise capability of up to 25 feet suction lift, a maximum working pressure of 125 PSIG, and a maximum water temperature of 140°F (60°C).

The motor is NEMA standard open drip proof, with a stainless steel shaft, 60 Hz, and 3500 RPM. It comes in single phase options ranging from ¾-1½ HP with automatic reset built-in overload protection, and 115/230 V to 2 and 3 HP with 230 V only. The pump rotates clockwise when viewed from the motor end, ensuring efficient operation.
